Choosing the right waste percentage
5% waste for simple rectangular rooms with standard plank flooring. 10-15% for diagonal or herringbone patterns, rooms with many corners, or tile flooring. 15-20% for mosaic or intricate patterns. Always round up to full packages.
Measuring irregular rooms
